Chapter 3 - Player Management
Introduction
In this chapter, we will focus on managing players on your server. We will explore the features offered by the "Players" section of the CrashPanel, including tools for in-depth player analysis and the ability to modify their properties.
Accessing the Players Section
- Go to the server panel: From the CrashPanel home page, click the involved server from the menu on the left.
- Go to the "Players" section: Locate and select the section dedicated to player management. It can be found on the side menu.
Quick Actions and Detailed Page
- Ban: To quickly ban a player, locate their name in the list and click on the ban icon (there are also other quick actions).
- Detailed Page: Clicking on the player's name will take you to their detailed page. Here you will find a wide range of information and tools for management.
Player Information
The detailed page of a player provides a comprehensive overview of their behavior on the server and across the entire network.
- Playtime: View the total time played by the player on all servers.
- Messages: Examine the messages sent by the player on different servers.
- Full Log: Access a detailed log of the actions performed by the player
- Properties: View and modify the player's properties, such as display name, health, gamemode, whitelisted, and other.
IMPORTANT: The information you see is from all servers belonging to the network. This way you can better compare them.
Addons for Advanced Features
To extend player management features, you can install the following addons:
- CrashInvSee: This addon allows you to view and modify the player's inventory directly from their detailed page. To access this go to the bottom of the player page.
- CrashAdmin: With this addon, you can access the player's live control panel, allowing you to perform their actions in real time. For more details, consult the CrashAdmin guide.
Navigation
To return to the player list from the player page, use the navigation bar at the top. The path will be similar to this: "Your Network > Players > player". Click on "Players" to return to the list.
